    A teenager that went missing from Dawson Creek last week has been found.

    Cst. Jaime Ekkel with the Dawson Creek RCMP says that 16 year-old Madelyn White has been located safe and unharmed. Whyte was reported missing to the Dawson Creek RCMP on Monday April 17th, after speaking with her family two days two days prior.

    In a release, Cst. Ekkel extended thanks to the public for helping to locate White.

     


     

    Dawson Creek RCMP hope the public can help them locate a missing Dawson Creek women.
    Madelyn WHYTE, 16 years old, was reported missing to the Dawson Creek RCMP on Monday April 18th, 2017, however family says she was last spoken with approximately two (2) days before.
    Ms. WHYTE lives a high risk lifestyle and police have checked places Ms. WHYTE has been known to frequent. All efforts so far have failed to locate her.
    Ms. WHYTE is described as

    • First Nations
    • 5 feet 2 inches tall
    • 130 pounds
    • Brown eyes

    Anyone with information on where Ms. WHYTE may be are asked to call the Dawson Creek RCMP at 250 784-3700 or Crime Stopper at 1 800 222-8477.
