Police say a missing 17-year-old boy has been found.

At 12:24 a.m. Saturday, during a snow storm, the Royal Newfoundland Constabulary reported Brandon Edwards had been located.

Friday evening, police said Edwards had gone missing from the St. John’s area just as a major snow storm was headed for the city.

He had last been seen near Prince of Wales Collegiate at 11 a.m. on Friday.

The RNC’s Major Crime Unit was searching for the teen, and asking for the help of the public.

 


The RNC is looking for missing person seventeen-year-old Brandon Edwards.

Edwards was last seen in the area of Prince of Wales Collegiate on Paton Street in St. John’s at about 11 a.m. Friday.
He is described as being six feet tall, 200 pounds, blue eyes, short dark brown hair and a chin strap beard. He was last seen wearing black sweat pants with a red and white stripe down the side. He was wearing a black winter jacket with hood, red hoodie and tan timberland boots with a tan backpack.
The RNC Major Crime Unit is continuing the search and is seeking the assistance of the general public. Anyone who has any information pertaining to the whereabouts of Brandon Edwards is asked to contact the RNC at 729-8000 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).
