Saskatoon police are hoping the public can help find a missing 12-year-old who was last seen wearing a hoodie and sweatpants in the midst of an extreme cold snap.
Jadrah Jimmy was last seen at around 9 a.m. CST on Wednesday morning leaving her home on the 400 block of Witney Avenue South.
Officers and Jimmy’s caregivers are concerned about her safety given the extreme cold warning in the city.
Environment Canada is forecasting wind chills of –40 to –45 into Friday morning. Frostbite on exposed skin is possible within 10 minutes in those conditions.
Jimmy is described as Indigenous, five-foot-four-inches tall and 110 pounds, with shoulder-length dark brown hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a grey hoodie, grey sweatpants, a burgundy shirt, and red and black Adidas runners.
