Dametry Ruscoe has been located.

Late in the day on September 10th, Ruscoe was found safe in the Shelburne area.

Police would like to thank the media and public for their assistance.




RCMP and Halifax Regional Police continue to look for Dametry Ruscoe. Police have received information that he may be in the Saint John, New Brunswick area and heading to Oshawa, Ontario. Police are asking the public to contact your local police if you have information concerning his whereabouts.



Police in Halifax are asking for the public’s help locating a missing 14-year-old boy.

Dametry Ruscoe of Lake Echo hasn’t been seen since being at his home on Walker Street on Aug. 19. Police say he may have been on Spring Garden Road and looking for a shelter.

He is described as five-foot-seven, 140 pounds with medium length dark hair.

Police say they haven’t been able to locate him despite checking with local businesses and police agencies, along with family and friends.

Anyone with information on Ruscoe’s whereabouts is asked to contact the RCMP, Halifax Regional Police or Crime Stoppers.
